We are a Values-based Education school and every month we develop our understanding on a new value. Each month a member of staff chooses a new value that they feel is important to them. This is championed across the school and pupils are rewarded for displaying the value of the month.
“The pupils’ strong values are reflected in their respect, concern and consideration for others. Displays, such as that of a Benjamin Zephaniah poem, reflect and promote an understanding of British values.” Ofsted report, April 2017
The value for October is: Courage
‘Having courage reminds me to always try and do something even if it frightens me’ (Mrs Begum)
